1. Agreement
By using cogentichq.com (the “Site”), operated by Cogentic (“we”, “us”), you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Site.
2. What the Site is
The Site describes the work we do and how to get in touch. It is information, not an offer. Any engagement, including the exploratory phase described on the Site, happens only under a separate written agreement between us and the customer, and that agreement, not these terms, governs the work.
3. Examples and figures
Diagrams and interface mock-ups on the Site are labeled as example data and illustrate how the work is structured. They are not results from a customer engagement and are not a prediction of results for yours. Figures attributed to third parties, such as the IDC Rethink Data report, are cited to their source and are theirs, not ours.
4. No warranties
The Site is provided as it is. We make no promise about its availability, that it will be free of errors, or about the accuracy or completeness of its content, and nothing on it should be read as advice for your situation. Anything we do promise a customer is written in that customer’s agreement.
5. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to breach, probe or overload the Site, scrape it in bulk, or submit false or abusive content through the contact form. Security researchers acting in good faith are welcome to report findings to the address in /.well-known/security.txt.
6. Intellectual property
The Site’s text, diagrams, marks and design are ours. You may read and share links to it; you may not reproduce it as your own or use the Cogentic name or mark without permission.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the Site or your reliance on its content. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, and it does not apply to a customer agreement, which sets its own terms.
8. Third-party links and changes
Links to other sites, including the scheduling service and our LinkedIn page, lead to services with their own terms. If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them.
