Privacy Policy

Cogentic (“we”, “us”) operates cogentichq.com (the “Site”). This policy describes what the Site collects and what we do with it. It covers the Site only. Work we do for a customer is governed by the written agreement for that engagement, not by this page.

The contact form. If you send it, we receive what you typed: your name, your company, your work email, the question you want answered, and, if you filled it in, where your data lives today. The form is delivered to us as an email through Resend, an email delivery service, and lands in our inbox at admin@cogentichq.com. Resend processes the message in order to deliver it and keeps its own delivery logs under its own privacy policy.

Analytics. We use Vercel Analytics to count page views and a handful of button clicks in aggregate. It sets no cookies and does not identify or follow you across sites. We see counts and trends, not people.

Hosting logs. The Site is hosted by Vercel, which processes standard request logs, including IP addresses, to serve and protect the Site.

That is the whole list. The Site collects nothing else.

The Site sets no cookies, so there is no cookie banner. If you switch the color theme, your choice is kept in your own browser’s local storage and never sent to us.

We do not currently process protected health information or other regulated patient data through the Site or the contact form, and we ask that you do not send any. If our work ever involves such data, this policy will be updated before it does.

“Book a call” opens a third-party scheduling page. What you enter there is handled by that service under its own privacy policy; we receive the booking details you provide.

To reply to you, to prepare for and hold a call you asked for, to run and secure the Site, and to see in aggregate which pages get read. We do not sell or rent personal information and we do not share it with anyone for their marketing.

Form submissions are correspondence: we keep them as long as the conversation is live and for our records afterwards, and we delete them on request. Aggregate analytics contain no personal information.

Wherever you are, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our use of it. Email admin@cogentichq.com and we act within 30 days. Residents of jurisdictions with specific privacy laws, including the EEA, the United Kingdom and California, have the rights those laws grant, and we honor them.

The Site is served over HTTPS only, with a strict content security policy and the standard security headers. It stores no customer datasets. Security researchers can find our contact and disclosure details at /.well-known/security.txt.

The Site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
